Morning News Update

Here are the stories that people will be talking about today:

1. President Bush "reluctantly" accepts Supreme Court nominee Harriet Miers's request to withdraw her nomination!

2. It took 88 long years, but the Chicago White Sox are the World Series champions after beating the Houston Astros in a 1-0 nail-biter in Game 4.

3. Several world capitals have condemned Iran's leader for saying Israel should be "wiped off the map," and Israel's vice premier has called for Tehran to be expelled from the United Nations.

Enjoy
