Keep your fingers crossed

Right now, as I write this, Bebe is in an interview for a teaching job up here in Cobb County. The social study positions at the high school she was a student teacher at were all filled by teachers who could fill the open coaching positions. Thus, the students get second rate teachers instead of first rate teachers so that there aren’t any coaching vacancies. Now, don’t get me wrong, but most of us don’t remember any coaches who made good teachers. I had two, one was a pretty good English teacher, the other was a great science teacher, the rest sucked pretty bad.

At any rate, this will be at a charter school that doesn’t really care much about sports, and fortunately they pay the same amount as the non charter schools do. I really hope Bebe gets this, as it will take a lot of stress of her back and would be a great way to start the weekend. Keep your fingers crossed.
